That includes mounting access points, running or managing cables, full UniFi configuration, VLAN setup, and a walkthrough so you actually know what you paid for. Larger homes or business installs with lots of cable runs can take a full day. We'll give you a realistic time estimate before we show up.

Yes — we can optimize what you have, diagnose why it's underperforming, or help you decide if an upgrade makes sense. We won't push you to replace hardware that's still doing its job. That said, if your "mesh" system is two hops of wireless relay with 40% speed loss at each node, we'll tell you that plainly and explain what replacing it would actually cost.

Consumer mesh systems relay signals wirelessly between nodes. Each wireless hop cuts your effective bandwidth — you're splitting the radio between client devices and the backhaul link. With ethernet between access points, each AP gets its own full-bandwidth uplink. You get the same speeds at the far end of the house as you do standing next to the router. It's the difference between a real network and an elaborate workaround.

No. The UniFi Network application runs locally on your hardware (or on a small cloud key), and the full feature set is included at no extra cost. No subscriptions, no feature tiers, no "your advanced settings are $9.99/month." You buy the hardware once. Ubiquiti makes money selling hardware, not locking your data behind a paywall. Our optional maintenance plans are about your time, not software access.
